About the role#
The Safety & Technology Intern will support Ag-Land FS with safety, maintenance, and operational improvement initiatives during the Summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with asset management, digital inspections, and data analysis to improve equipment reliability and overall efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Assist with digital safety inspections, maintenance forms, and operational workflows.
- Support equipment, fleet, and facility asset management initiatives.
- Help implement QR code tracking and maintenance documentation processes.
- Create dashboards and reports to monitor maintenance and safety performance.
- Analyze maintenance and inspection data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support employee training and the adoption of new technology tools.
- Travel to company locations to assist with operational improvement projects.
- Participate in all GROWMARK internship program activities, including orientation and professional development meetings.
- Complete and present a summer internship project.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Agricultural Systems Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Good academic standing at the start of the internship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Interest in safety, maintenance, operations, technology, or process improvement.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Pekin, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027 (minimum 12 weeks).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time and paid at $19 per hour.
