About the role#
This is a hands-on internship focused on field operations and crop monitoring. You will work directly with customers to assess field conditions and support the daily functions of our agronomy team. This role requires working outdoors and traveling to various customer locations.
What you'll do#
- Inspect customer crop fields to monitor health and identify pests using IPM techniques.
- Document findings and provide inspection reports to agronomy specialists and customers.
- Discuss scouting results with customers to answer questions and provide support.
- Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment.
- Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Agriculture and are in good academic standing.
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You hold a valid driver license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- You are able to lift 51-70 pounds and walk through crop fields for inspections.
