About the role#
As a MiField Agronomy Intern, you will work under the direction of the Area Agronomy Manager. This role focuses on turning data into insights to support the South Central FS go-to-market strategy. You will gain experience through hands-on work with Precision Ag technology, crop specialists, and direct interaction with grower customers.
What you'll do#
- Inspect customer crop fields regularly to monitor MiField trials.
- Analyze MiField imagery and provide data support.
- Complete tissue sampling of trial fields.
- Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment.
- Collect data using drone and satellite imagery.
- Assist with other agronomy technology functions and in-season assessments.
- Follow all safety, EHS, OSHA, and DOT policies.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of college in an agriculture-related degree program.
- A valid driver's license.
- The ability to work extended hours when necessary.

- Location: Vandalia, Illinois.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
