About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in office administration within an agricultural cooperative. You will support daily operations by managing clerical tasks, greeting visitors, and assisting staff with various projects. This role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to handle both routine tasks and specific assignments independently or as part of a team.
What you'll do#
- Manage front-desk duties including answering phones and greeting clients.
- Handle general office tasks such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Maintain both hard copy and electronic filing systems.
- Create and update documents using Microsoft Office.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and company events.
- Process incoming packages and manage office supply orders.
- Update customer information and handle uniform orders and employee invoicing.
- Run local errands, including picking up or dropping off products and materials.
- Cross-train with other administrative staff to provide coverage as needed.
- Adhere to company policies, including safety, environmental, and compliance programs.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 to 3 years of clerical work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing.
- Strong communication and professional skills.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work collaboratively and focus on customer needs.
- Willingness to complete required training on company policies and procedures.
