About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience within the energy division of the GROWMARK system. You will learn the foundations of the industry while assisting with daily operations and equipment maintenance. This role is designed to prepare you for future career opportunities in the agricultural sector.
What you'll do#
- Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
- Perform technical tasks such as installation, leak checks, and tank leveling.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wet environments.
- Follow company policies, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.
- Lift 51-70 pounds as needed and work at heights or on elevated platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an agriculture, mechanic, welding, or related degree or certification program.
- Good academic standing at the start of the internship.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements and a medical card.
- Willingness to travel independently and stay overnight when necessary.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
