About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in agronomy and field operations. You will support our team by monitoring crop health and assisting with daily facility tasks. This position is based in Darlington, Wisconsin, for the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Inspect customer fields to identify weeds, insects, and diseases.
- Use GPS technology and Integrated Pest Management techniques to document findings.
- Create and submit detailed inspection reports for customers and specialists.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of facility equipment.
- Drive a company vehicle to reach various field locations.
- Attend technical training sessions and team meetings.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel independently to field sites.
- Basic understanding of production agriculture.
- Capability to lift 51-70 pounds and walk through fields in various weather conditions.
- Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.
