About the role#
Groupe vétérinaire Daubigny hires veterinary students to work in clinics across Saskatchewan. You will work alongside an experienced team to observe clinical procedures and treat patients. A mentor will be assigned to help you reach specific learning goals during your time with us.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through different clinic roles to gain experience in patient care and client service.
- Act as a receptionist, veterinary assistant, or animal health technician depending on your qualifications.
- Prepare and monitor surgeries.
- Communicate with clients and use clinic software.
- Assist with general veterinary care measures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the first, second, or third year of an accredited veterinary medicine program.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
- Availability for a period of 6 to 16 weeks.
- Flexibility to work 20 to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
