About the role#
Griffith Company offers a paid summer internship within our Landscape Division. This program provides hands-on experience in heavy civil construction. You will work alongside project managers, estimators, and field personnel to gain practical industry knowledge. We provide opportunities for mentorship, site visits, and direct interaction with company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Perform job site administration and documentation under supervision.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule.
- Track submittals, RFI’s, contract change orders, daily costs, and project quantities.
- Attend bid review meetings and review proposal specifications, drawings, and site conditions.
- Assist the superintendent and foreman with layout and technical requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Construction, Landscape Design, Landscape Horticulture, or Ornamental Horticulture.
- Preference for students enrolled in a landscape-themed academic program.
- Ability to handle real-world tasks in support of project managers and field personnel.
