About the role#
Griffis Residential is seeking a Summer Intern for an 11-week program based in Denver. You will work on-site at a residential community to gain hands-on experience in property management functions, including leasing, customer service, and community operations. This is a full-time role that requires travel to various local properties to support different community sizes and development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Support community teams by managing resident accounts and answering inquiries.
- Shadow leasing consultants to learn the process of showing apartments to prospective residents.
- Prepare materials for move-ins and move-outs.
- Handle daily office tasks such as answering phones and preparing for tours.
- Assist with apartment management operations and complete assigned philanthropy or operations projects.
- Develop and present a capstone project that addresses a specific business need with actionable recommendations.
- Manage your time across daily on-site responsibilities, independent projects, and program meetings.
- Use online platforms and software tools for leasing and property management.
- Take on leadership opportunities for specific tasks or projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a graduation date between 6 months to 1 year in the future.
- An interest in Property Management, Hospitality, or Business Operations.
- Reliable transportation for travel to various local community sites.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing positive guest experiences.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Dependability and a commitment to contributing to an inclusive work environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June through early August).
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid position at $22 per hour.
- Note: This role requires availability to work weekends and attend onboarding training during the first week of June. Sponsorship is not provided for this position.
