About the role#
This 11-week internship program places you at a community in the Seattle market. You will receive hands-on training in core property management functions, including leasing, customer service, budgeting, and market pricing. You will work alongside on-site associates to support daily operations and gain exposure to different community sizes through local travel.
What you'll do#
- Support community teams by managing resident accounts and answering inquiries.
- Shadow leasing consultants to learn how to conduct apartment tours.
- Prepare materials for resident move-ins and move-outs.
- Develop and present a capstone project that addresses a specific business need with actionable recommendations.
- Handle daily office tasks and assist with operations and philanthropy projects.
- Learn and use various software tools for property management and leasing.
- Manage your time between on-site duties, projects, and program meetings.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, with graduation expected within 6 months to 1 year.
- You have an interest in property management, hospitality, or business operations.
- You have reliable transportation for travel to various local properties.
- You communicate effectively and prioritize tasks well.
- You are committed to providing helpful service and creating positive guest experiences.
- You demonstrate dependability and a commitment to an inclusive work environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) from June through early August, including weekends.
- Onboarding: You must be available to attend training during the first week of June.
- Compensation: This is a paid position at $22 per hour.
