About the role#
This is an 11-week, full-time summer internship based in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will work on-site at a Griffis Residential community, gaining hands-on training in property management functions like leasing, customer service, budgeting, and financial forecasting. The program requires travel to various local communities of different sizes to support your professional development.
What you'll do#
- Work with community teams to answer resident inquiries and manage accounts.
- Shadow leasing consultants to learn how to show apartments to prospective residents.
- Prepare materials for move-ins and move-outs.
- Handle daily office tasks and learn the software tools used in property management.
- Assist with operations and philanthropy projects.
- Manage your schedule across on-site duties, projects, and program meetings.
- Develop and present a capstone project that addresses a real business need with actionable recommendations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Your anticipated graduation date is between 6 months and 1 year in the future.
- You have an interest in property management, hospitality, or business operations.
- You have reliable transportation for travel to various local properties.
- You communicate effectively and are committed to providing great service.
- You can prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate reliability.
- You are committed to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive work environment.
