About the role#
GreenTomatoMedia is seeking a Junior SEO Specialist for a 6-month, full-time internship. This role focuses on the structural SEO layer of the iGaming market, specifically working on search intent, page architecture, on-page optimization, internal linking, content briefs, and quality assurance. You will work within an international team to scale digital media assets.
What you'll do#
- Optimize SEO content for the iGaming market.
- Create SEO templates for new pages and content clusters.
- Place strategic internal links within existing pages.
- Monitor and analyze keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR, and other key performance indicators.
- Research new opportunities for SEO strategies and content ideas.
- Manage assigned SEO tasks independently and ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with content and SEO teams to maintain an integrated approach.
What you'll need#
- A curious and analytical mindset with a focus on detail.
- Ability to work as a self-starter in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies.
- Experience with WordPress or SEO tools such as Surfer, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console is preferred.
- Academic background in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Media Studies.
- Italian language skills are considered an asset.
