About the role#
GreenTomatoMedia is seeking a Junior SEO Specialist for a 6-month, full-time internship. This role focuses on the structural SEO layer, keyword research, content briefs, and quality assurance for the Italian iGaming market. You will work within a performance-driven team to increase visibility and acquire high-value leads.
What you'll do#
- Optimize SEO content for the iGaming market, including search intent, page architecture, and on-page optimization.
- Create SEO templates for new pages and content clusters.
- Place strategic internal links within existing pages.
- Monitor and analyze keyword rankings, organic traffic, and click-through rates.
- Research new opportunities for SEO strategies and content ideas.
- Collaborate with content and SEO teams to ensure an integrated approach.
- Manage and follow up on SEO tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
What you'll need#
- A curious and analytical mindset with a focus on detail.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and manage tasks independently in a remote environment.
- Understanding of SEO strategies.
- Experience with WordPress or SEO tools such as Surfer, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console is preferred.
- Italian language skills are considered an asset.
- Educational background in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position.
- The internship is a 6-month, full-time commitment of 35 hours per week.
- Compensation is 1,000 Euro per month for remote interns.
