About the role#
GreenStone Farm Credit Services is hiring a Talent Acquisition Intern to join the Human Resources team in East Lansing. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in recruiting and talent management. You will work alongside professionals to help attract talent and support the development of our workforce.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruiting tasks such as candidate screening, interview scheduling, assessments, and background checks.
- Help ensure a positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Support the planning and coordination of the company internship program, including events that foster networking and professional growth.
- Coordinate college recruiting and career fair logistics, including registrations, materials, and student engagement.
- Represent the company brand while building relationships with universities.
- Partner with the broader Human Resources team on various projects.
- Contribute new perspectives to help improve recruiting and talent programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Human Resources.
- Sophomore status or higher.
- A minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Interest in or experience with the agricultural sector.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A self-motivated approach to learning.
