About the role#
GreenStone Farm Credit Services is looking for a Credit Intern to join our team for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at our offices in Little Chute, Wisconsin, or Traverse City and Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. You will work alongside experienced Credit Analysts to gain practical experience in agricultural lending and credit underwriting.
What you'll do#
- Partner with an Agricultural Lending Credit Analyst to learn the details of credit underwriting.
- Gather, analyze, and present data for various departmental projects.
- Input and evaluate financial information using our internal systems to support lending decisions.
- Monitor national agriculture news and industry trends to understand how they affect lending strategies.
- Provide direct support to the Credit Leadership team on ongoing projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Agriculture, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Sophomore academic status or higher.
- A minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach to learning.
- An interest in or background within the agriculture industry.

- Compensation: Paid at $20 per hour.
