About the role#
GreenStone Farm Credit Services is hiring an Agribusiness Lending Credit Intern for our Grand Rapids office. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in the agricultural finance industry. You will work alongside experienced Credit Analysts to learn about credit underwriting and contribute to projects that support rural communities.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with an experienced Agricultural Lending Credit Analyst to gain insights into credit underwriting.
- Use internal systems to gather, analyze, and present data for various projects.
- Input and analyze information using financial analysis software to support lending decisions.
- Monitor agricultural industry trends and national news to understand how they influence lending strategies.
- Collaborate with the Credit Leadership team on departmental projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Sophomore status or above with a minimum 3.00 GPA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- An interest in or background within the agriculture industry.
- A self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn.

- Term: Winter 2027 through Summer 2027 (February 2027 to August 2027).
