About the role#
The Tax Accounting Co-op Student joins our tax team to assist with the monthly accounting close process. You will help with the reconciliation and analysis of key accounts while gaining experience in corporate tax and accounting concepts. This role offers a broad look at our organizational operations and supports our ongoing finance transformation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with accounting and tax teams to maintain day-to-day financial reporting functions.
- Prepare month-end working papers and complete account reconciliations.
- File and maintain tax returns, reports, and accounting records.
- Perform ad hoc tax analysis on specific business areas.
- Support projects related to our broader finance transformation initiative.
- Work with the wider finance and accounting team on shared objectives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary Co-op program.
- Progress toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, with a preference for finance or accounting specializations.
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to process and manipulate large sets of data.
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with Taxprep or Workday is considered an asset, as is previous tax experience.

- This is a full-time, paid position.
- The role is based in Windsor, Ontario, with hybrid work arrangements available.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
