About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Salina, Kansas. You will work directly with our Corporate Purchasing Department to gain practical experience in the manufacturing of agricultural and construction equipment. Each intern completes a specific project with the guidance of a mentor and peers. We also host casual summer events, such as bowling and community activities, to help you connect with other interns and employees.
What you'll do#
- Complete a project focused on supply chain or procurement processes.
- Work alongside engineers and production floor team members.
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Lean Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Critical thinking abilities and a positive approach to problem-solving.
- A team-oriented mindset and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- Location: Salina, Kansas.
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Requirements: You must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work on-site. You must also pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening. Proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States is required on your first day. Housing is provided if you reside outside the Salina area.
