Strategic Sourcing Intern (Year-Round)

About the role#

The Strategic Sourcing Center of Excellence (CoE) is seeking a year-round intern to support enterprise sourcing operations, analytics, and process improvement. This role provides exposure to procurement strategy and supplier relationship management within a corporate insurance environment.

What you'll do#

• Administer day-to-day Center of Excellence activities.
• Manage the supplier onboarding process, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely processing and system approval.
• Develop monthly reports, quarterly dashboards, and provide analytics for the Strategic Sourcing team.
• Assist in the annual Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) project to ensure documentation is updated by the end of the second quarter.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and documentation for the Procure to Pay Health Check Analysis in collaboration with the Workday team.
• Research and recommend system and process improvements, including the implementation of new tools.
• Assist in automating processes to reduce resource requirements for transactional tasks.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the school year.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• A desire to reside in Cincinnati, Ohio, following graduation.
