Sourcing Auditing Intern

About the role#

The Sourcing Auditing Intern will join the AFG Procurement team to support ongoing oversight and process improvement initiatives. This role is project-focused, with the primary objective of alleviating workload for adjusters by identifying gaps in current oversight and establishing formal audit controls.

What you'll do#

• Analyze current oversight practices to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Determine and implement formal audit controls to enhance procurement processes.
• Assist in developing solutions for contract improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deliver results.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Understanding of oversight and audit controls.
• Ability to identify opportunities for contract improvement.
• Strong project-based analytical skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
