Risk Management Marketing/Sales Intern

About the role#

The Specialty Human Services division is seeking a Marketing and Risk Management Intern to join their team in Cincinnati. This is a paid, year-round internship offering a hybrid work schedule. Interns are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the school year, with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours during the summer.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the divisional sales and marketing team to develop customer service skills.
• Prepare routine correspondence, memoranda, and reports with professional editing.
• Maintain departmental files, reports, and databases.
• Support the delivery of key risk management resources, including Learning Management Systems and Property & Auto Telematics.
• Become familiar with department policies, procedures, and overall business operations.
• Participate in job shadowing and complete assigned projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Pursuing a degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills through work experience, internships, co-ops, or extracurricular activities.
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills with the ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of Salesforce is considered a plus.
