About the role#
Grayson HR is looking for a Technical Design Intern to support our team in pre-production development and quality assurance. You will help ensure that our product designs translate accurately into final goods. This role focuses on the technical details that bridge the gap between creative concepts and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Verify artwork specifications for size, placement, colors, and print techniques against approved design files and tech packs.
- Review label artwork and packaging details to ensure branding and legal information is correct and consistent.
- Inspect incoming pre-production and sales samples for accurate construction and fabric quality.
- Document and photograph defects or discrepancies in samples and communicate required revisions to vendors.
- Maintain and organize the physical sample library and digital files for quick reference.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an Apparel Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, or related program.
- Knowledge of graphics, print methods, and textiles.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written forms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, is a plus.

- Location: Hoboken, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2026 and Fall 2026.
- Status: Part-time, 29 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
