About the role#
As a Financial Due Diligence Intern, you will work on M&A engagements from start to finish. You will participate in the planning, execution, and completion phases of projects while gaining exposure to both sell-side and buy-side clients across various industries. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Manage data flow and monitor the dataroom.
- Work with the offshore support team to build analysis packages and interpret financial data.
- Build custom analyses to identify key insights for clients.
- Attend and participate in meetings with clients, target company management, private equity firms, and investment bankers.
- Drive the deal process by managing internal and external deadlines.
- Network with peers and participate in team-building activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize large datasets.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning and time management.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week).
- Pay: $37 per hour.
