About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Graco, you will work alongside our engineering team to build a versatile skillset in both hardware and software. You will contribute to new product development and support our standard product teams through hands-on design, analysis, and testing. This role requires daily on-site interaction with the team, including lab work, project meetings, and design discussions.
What you'll do#
- Participate in new product development as a member of a design team.
- Contribute to electrical hardware and software design.
- Apply engineering skills to solve technical problems.
- Help with design analysis and root cause testing.
- Run tests to optimize performance.
- Determine the root cause of failures in the field.
- Develop, qualify, and implement solutions to product issues.
- Consult with electrical manufacturers to resolve product issues.
- Troubleshoot issues on existing standard products.
- Create and execute product qualification plans.
- Conduct analysis of Graco and competitive products.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
- Initiative to learn industry and project requirements.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C+, and Python.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, specifically using Altium designer.
