About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Dayton, Minnesota. You will work on-site to support the maintenance and repair of manufacturing assets and machine tools. This role is open to students in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preventative maintenance and simple repairs for company-owned machine tools and assembly equipment.
- Perform testing and repairs involving hydraulics, mechanical elements, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Support operational requirements for work accuracy while minimizing waste.
- Help maintain a productive and efficient work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
