About the role#
This is a full-time, paid, rolling internship based on-site in Anoka, Minnesota. The role focuses on supporting the maintenance and repair of machine tools and manufacturing assets to ensure operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs for machine tools and assembly equipment.
- Perform testing and repairs involving hydraulics, mechanical elements, electrical systems, and electronics.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Support operational requirements by minimizing waste and caring for company equipment and facilities.
- Maintain a productive work environment while following all safety guidelines and using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Biomedical Engineering, or Physics.
- A basic understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, electrical systems, and electronics.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration sponsorship.
