About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship for students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. You will work on-site at our Home Office in Wyoming, Michigan, during the Summer of 2027. You will join an engineering team that uses AI as a core collaborator to solve real-world business problems.
What you'll do#
- Plan equipment lifecycles and optimize preventive maintenance systems.
- Evaluate mechanical and data systems to suggest operational improvements and maintenance updates.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on company systems to drive equipment performance and replacement strategies.
- Collaborate with industry professionals and other interns across various departments.
- Participate in a mentorship program and shadow roles across the organization.
- Engage in community and stewardship efforts.
- Develop professional skills through workshops on communication, presenting, and more.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
