About the role#
This full-time summer internship provides hands-on experience in business automation within a professional financial services environment. You will work alongside industry leaders on meaningful projects while participating in development opportunities and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and workflow optimization.
- Support the development, testing, and implementation of automation solutions.
- Analyze operational data to create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and recommend enhancements.
- Participate in project meetings, provide status updates, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising senior or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least one semester of school remaining when the internship starts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, including evaluating outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection.
- Knowledge of prompting techniques and AI-assisted software development or research is preferred.
- Certification or previous experience with Automation Anywhere v11 is preferred.
- Proficiency in VBA, SQL, Python, SAS, or R is a plus.
