About the role#
As an intern with the Technology Architecture and Competitiveness Structural Analysis team, you will help strengthen technology competitiveness. You will work on reverse engineering analysis, design compaction, and technology definition optimization. This role involves collaborating with design and laboratory teams to generate technical insights and improve analysis workflows.
What you'll do#
- Conduct reverse engineering analyses and technical investigations of semiconductor technologies.
- Coordinate sample preparation, data collection, and analysis activities.
- Interpret structural, layout, and technology findings.
- Document your methods, assumptions, and results in technical reports and presentations.
- Support design teams by using layout-analysis tools to evaluate technology options and design-rule impacts.
- Identify opportunities for design compaction and optimization.
- Develop or improve scripts and workflows using Python and AI-enabled techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering partners to review results and communicate project status.
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum overall 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
