About the role#
The Quantum Technology Services team is looking for an intern for Summer 2027. You will support the execution of development activities across multiple quantum platforms. You will work alongside modality leaders, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and manufacturing teams to track project progress and support manufacturing readiness.
What you'll do#
- Track development lot progress across various quantum technology programs.
- Coordinate experiments, split lots, and characterization activities.
- Help close action items from technical reviews and project meetings.
- Assist with customer demonstrations and development milestones.
- Interface with Fab 8 and Fab 9 engineering organizations.
- Support readiness reviews for tools, materials, metrology, and process flows.
- Identify schedule risks and report project status to stakeholders.
- Maintain execution dashboards and project status tools.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
- Perform all tasks safely and follow Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Preferred: Prior internship experience, leadership experience, and project management skills.
- Preferred: Interest in using AI tools to streamline workflows and improve decision-making.
- Preferred: Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
