About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Malta, New York. You will support process integration for advanced CMOS devices, specifically focusing on FinFET and FDSOI technologies. Your work will contribute to device performance, technology yield, and the development of new technology features.
What you'll do#
- Use data systems and structured problem-solving methods like Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Collaborate with device, process module, and characterization teams to advance new technology features.
- Analyze data to identify issues and support continuous improvement plans.
- Assist with new project introductions and characterization.
- Coordinate tasks with the module team and prioritize work based on business needs.
- Follow all safety, health, and security programs while performing your duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program for Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Preferred: Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or project management skills.
- Preferred: Coursework or research in semiconductor processing, device physics, or electrical characterization.
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI tools, statistical methods, or data analysis.
