About the role#
This internship focuses on device engineering within the technology development organization. You will work on the ULP CMOS product line, which supports applications like automotive, IoT, and aerospace. Your work involves designing and analyzing experiments to create and optimize silicon transistor technologies. You will also coordinate with other development teams to ensure product requirements, reliability, and manufacturability are met.
What you'll do#
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments for silicon transistor optimization.
- Create device test chip layouts.
- Perform device characterization and handle inline and bench electric test submissions.
- Improve device analysis automation for better efficiency.
- Follow all safety, health, and security protocols in the workplace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor program for Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Preferred: Prior internship experience, leadership experience, and project management skills.
- Preferred: Knowledge of CMOS fabrication, solid state device physics, and submicron FET architectures.
