About the role#
Global Partners is looking for an Advanced Analytics Intern to support quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making. You will report to the Central Analytics team and gain experience with a modern cloud analytics stack. This role involves turning raw data into insights that inform business operations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct exploratory data analysis on operational and financial datasets to find trends and anomalies.
- Write and refine SQL queries against our cloud data warehouse to build clean, analysis-ready datasets.
- Support statistical analyses such as forecasting and experiment evaluation using Python or R.
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to make results accessible to business stakeholders.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure outputs are accurate and reproducible.
- Collaborate with analysts and business partners to translate findings into recommendations.
- Document methodology and assumptions so analyses can be repeated by others.
- Contribute to a capstone analysis presented to leadership at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Experience with SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Python or R.
- Ability to conduct exploratory data analysis.
- Experience with data validation and quality checks.
- Strong analytical skills.
