About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within the Quality Control team. You will gain experience in method validation while working at a biotechnology research organization. The role is a full-time, 10-12 week commitment during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of GMP method validation.
- Run experiments following specific test methods and protocols.
- Perform laboratory techniques including Liquid Chromatography, Dissolution, and Water Content by Karl Fischer.
- Apply cGMP concepts to your daily work.
- Conduct test analysis on drug substance and drug product samples.
- Participate in team meetings to present and interpret data.
- Present your work at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Independent work authorization in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team.
