About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to biologics manufacturing operations. You will work on projects that support the establishment of new manufacturing capabilities and MSAT operations. You will gain experience in a professional environment while working alongside cross-functional teams to drive project execution.
What you'll do#
- Lead a project focused on the establishment of Manufacturing or MSAT operations for new biologics capabilities.
- Support the implementation of deliverables such as equipment qualification, digital manufacturing systems, manufacturing procedures, and training programs.
- Author and review technical documentation and assist with process monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with teams including Technical Development, IT/OT, Automation, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Facilities.
- Identify opportunities to build dashboards and reporting tools for future operations.
- Present your recommendations and lessons learned to manufacturing leadership, including a final presentation at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Computer Science, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biomedical), or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a 10 to 12 week full-time internship between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 at the start of the internship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
