About the role#
This internship in Analytical Development offers the chance to contribute to projects within the PDM department. You will gain experience in a research environment while working on the physicochemical properties of parenteral drug products. The program includes professional development, leadership presentations, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Design and execute experiments alongside an experienced researcher.
- Use analytical techniques and equipment to conduct hands-on lab work.
- Keep accurate records of all procedures and results.
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for analytical method development.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Present your work at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Continued full-time enrollment for the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
