About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within the Research organization at Kite. You will focus on improving project management practices, operational effectiveness, or team collaboration. The role is designed to provide real-world experience while advancing our mission to develop innovative cancer immunotherapies.
What you'll do#
- Lead a defined summer project focused on operational or team-based improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders across Research to understand business needs and identify opportunities.
- Collect and organize project information to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop deliverables such as reports, meeting minutes, dashboards, process maps, or other project-specific solutions.
- Apply project management principles including planning, execution tracking, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
- Showcase your work through a final PowerPoint presentation at the conclusion of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program, with continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10 to 12-week internship between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be independently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
