About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to process development within the Analytical Development team at Kite. You will engage in high-impact projects while gaining real-world experience in biopharmaceutical research. The program includes professional development presentations, networking activities, and local community volunteer programs.
What you'll do#
- Work in a lab setting to create study plans and execute experiments.
- Analyze data under supervision.
- Document experiments and results in an electronic notebook.
- Generate a study report or standard operating procedure by the end of the term.
- Participate in job-related training sessions.
- Present your work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program, with continued enrollment in the following Fall semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with particle analysis platforms (DLS, NTA) and subvisible particle characterization (Light Obscuration, MFI, FlowCam).
- Preferred fields of study include Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Molecular and Cell Biology, or Biochemistry.
