About the role#
We are looking for Civil Engineering Interns to join our Water team for the Summer 2027 term. You will assist project engineers and managers with the planning, design, and construction engineering of water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects for municipal and private clients.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field investigations and inspections of construction sites.
- Perform engineering studies and make comparative engineering and economic evaluations.
- Collect and compile project data.
- Assist with CADD drawings and develop facilities layouts.
- Conduct cost estimates and design calculations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- A solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office.
