About the role#
Gerdau is seeking students for our G.Start internship program. This is a paid, project-focused role designed to prepare you for future technical and managerial positions. You will work within our manufacturing operations to gain hands-on experience in the steel industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the G.Start development program.
- Complete project-focused assignments.
- Adapt to new tasks and develop your skills continuously.
- Focus on personal and professional growth within a global company.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student entering your Junior or Senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through student organizations or extracurricular activities.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems.
- Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
