About the role#
Motion Industries is seeking an Enterprise Intelligence Intern for the summer of 2027. This role is based in Birmingham, Alabama, and focuses on applying data, analytics, and AI solutions to solve business problems. You will work directly with the Enterprise Intelligence team to design tools that help users find and understand information more effectively.
What you'll do#
- Build and test data agents, analytical assistants, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Create prototype dashboards, reports, data summaries, and visualizations.
- Use SQL, Python, Power BI, or Excel to explore data and generate insights.
- Document business questions, data definitions, test results, and user feedback.
- Collaborate with team members to support analytics and AI-driven business decisions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, or Excel through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and ask thoughtful questions.
- An organized and curious approach to learning.
