About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Birmingham, Alabama. You will work on-site with project teams to develop, test, and deploy features for the CRM platform. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional software development environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Architects to build and deploy new CRM features.
- Design, develop, and unit test solutions that connect disparate systems.
- Troubleshoot software defects and address performance issues.
- Maintain Technical Design Documents (TDD) for your projects.
- Attend status meetings and report progress to Project Managers.
- Work with the Administrator to deploy code and configure the system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or BA degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and the full development lifecycle.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Java, MS Dynamics CRM, or .Net is a plus.
