About the role#

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine offers a comprehensive, hands-on internship for recent graduates pursuing careers in the medical or healthcare sector. This full-time, paid position provides practical experience in both clinical and administrative functions, with opportunities for mentorship and shadowing the clinical team during surgical procedures. The role requires a commitment of 18 to 24 months.

What you'll do#

• Engage in a mix of clinical and administrative tasks to support orthopedic care.
• Room patients and collect detailed medical histories.
• Provide patient education and assist providers with physical exams.
• Learn medical billing processes and handle various administrative duties.
• Receive mentorship to support future matriculation into graduate medical education programs.

What you'll need#

• Recent graduation with a degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Biomedical Sciences, or Biology.
• Demonstrated interest in a healthcare career.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to learn quickly in a clinical environment.
