About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our hardware engineering team in Manassas, Virginia. This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to defense-related projects that support national security missions. You will work alongside experienced professionals to apply your technical knowledge in a practical, hands-on environment.

What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preference for students with sophomore standing or higher.
- A clear understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly.
- A collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
