    About the role#

    This internship offers students the opportunity to gain technical experience in the power generation industry. Interns will join the Controls business to work on systems, analysis, design, quality, reliability, digital, and integration and test. You will receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from experienced managers and technologists.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform design and analysis of product lines, including steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators.
    • Develop and implement new design concepts and improvements.
    • Collaborate with the drafting team to create or update technical drawings.
    • Partner with the manufacturing team to solve problems related to complex production processes.
    • Expand your technical expertise and apply your skills to challenging assignments.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
    • Eligible majors include Aerospace, Aeronautical, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
    • Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
    • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
    • A self-motivated approach with a focus on problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience working as a team player.

    • Location: Longmont, Colorado.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time.
