    About the role#

    This internship provides technical training, mentorship, and coaching within the power generation industry. Interns work on assignments related to systems, analysis, design, quality, reliability, digital, and integration and test. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform design and analysis for product lines including steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators.
    • Develop and implement new design concepts and improvements.
    • Collaborate with the drafting team to create or update technical drawings.
    • Partner with the manufacturing team to solve problems related to complex manufacturing processes.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate engineering program with one to two semesters remaining before graduation.
    • Eligible majors include Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, and Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
    • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Analytical approach to problem solving and high self-motivation.
    • Ability to work under minimal supervision and a willingness to learn from others.
    • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities.

    • Locations: Greenville, South Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Schenectady, New York.
    • Term: May through August 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
