About the role#
This internship position within the Product Lifecycle Program Management team focuses on identifying and removing process inefficiencies. You will apply Lean methodologies to standardize internal workflows and help the organization meet product commitments with improved consistency.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Lifecycle Program Managers to find operational bottlenecks and build Lean solutions that streamline product lifecycle workflows.
- Formalize Standard Work and process documentation to ensure consistency across programs and stop work duplication.
- Create standardized workflows to synchronize responsibilities between engineering and commercial teams.
- Analyze program data to identify opportunities for reducing cycle times and keeping technical objectives aligned with product strategy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with at least two full years of college completed.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools like Excel and Word.
- Experience with or academic exposure to Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, or complex program planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- A strategic mindset that connects project tasks to business and customer goals.
- Prior internship experience in project, program, or process improvement roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with project planning tools such as Smartsheet is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Longmont, Colorado.
- This is a full-time, on-site role.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must have reliable transportation and a valid driver license.
- This position is paid with a weekly range of $1,000 to $2,000 USD.
