Unison Engineering Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Unison Engineering Intern for Summer 2027, you will work on real-world engineering challenges to support the design and service life of aircraft engines for commercial and military applications. You will gain exposure to advanced ignition systems, sensors, permanent magnet generators, and thermal management systems while building your professional and technical skills through mentorship and training.

What you'll do#

• Support all phases of product development, including requirements definition and design analysis.
• Conduct hardware builds and perform lab testing.
• Collaborate with teams to invent the future of flight.
• Build professional and technical proficiency in an engineering role.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a full-time, nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (without rounding).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in the United States.
• Reliable transportation, as many work sites do not have access to public transportation.
