About the role#
The Military DoD SkillBridge program provides active-duty service members with civilian work experience during their final 180 days of service. This Q3 2026 internship offers industry training and real-world work experience across various GE Aviation business units, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, Avionics, and Commercial Engines. Participants continue to receive military compensation and benefits throughout the duration of the program.
What you'll do#
- Support operations within various GE Aviation business units.
- Exercise the responsibility and authority to execute all assigned tasks.
- Engage in professional training and development within your assigned department.
What you'll need#
- Active Military status.
- Proficiency in using a personal computer to navigate online documents, drawings, and instructions.
- Prior experience working in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information if not a U.S. Person.
Location & details#
- Location: Evendale, Ohio, with remote work options available.
- Term: Summer 2026 (Q3: July – September).
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Note: This internship is unpaid by GE Aerospace as participants remain on active duty status.
