Unison Engineering Intern - Spring 2027

About the role#

As a Unison Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with advanced ignition systems, sensors, permanent magnet generators, and fluid delivery systems. You will participate in real-world engineering projects, receive mentorship, and contribute to the development of components for aviation, space, and defense applications.

What you'll do#

• Support product development phases, including electrical and mechanical requirements definition.
• Participate in design and analysis tasks for engineering projects.
• Contribute to hardware builds and assembly processes.
• Assist with lab testing and data collection.
• Provide ongoing product and program support.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a full-time, nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate engineering program (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering).
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Reliable transportation, as many sites are not accessible by public transit.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
