Unison Engineering Intern - Fall 2027

About the role#

As a Unison Engineering Intern for Fall 2027, you will join a team focused on designing electrical and mechanical components for aviation, space, and defense applications. This internship offers the opportunity to work on advanced systems such as ignition components, sensors, engine starters, and thermal management solutions. You will be integrated into a professional environment that prioritizes safety and quality while gaining hands-on experience in product development.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to the product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, and analysis.
• Participate in hardware builds, lab testing, and ongoing program support.
• Uphold safety and quality standards in all engineering tasks.
• Build technical skills through mentorship and training programs.
• Develop professional relationships with fellow interns and organizational leaders.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a full-time, nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in the United States.
• Reliable transportation, as public transit may not be available at all sites.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen is required for employment.
